Now I don't know how much this will help, given my record, but I will make it anyway.
Rule #1: Make sure you try to work the problem out completely BEFORE posting anything. You should talk to the other person and try to find a solution. If they will not respond to any email, phone call, or letter you can start collecting proof. If at first you don't reach them, try try again. Rule #2: You need evidence in order for your claim to be taken seriously. Collect and save any email you sent or recieve, any pictures you sent or recieved, and any written agreements. You MUST have these all together in a well written report. Save any info you have for a minimum of 6 months. Rule #3: Post when the problem arises. You can't wait 4 or 5 months before posting about this. You should bring the problem to attention after a certain amount of time. This amount of time cannot be a set amount. You should make sure the person you are trying to contact has ample time to respond. Rule #4: Don't do it out of spite. If you are angry at the person in question, let them know. Don't use this as a way to take your anger out. Use this as a way to warn people of a serious problem you had with the seller or buyer, don't use this as a way to tell other people how you hate the person in question. Rule #5: Don't blame a person for something as small as not having the sex marked on a container. If you are going to make a bad report, make sure that person deserves it, and that the problem is worth posting about. If you don't you will be veiwed as vindicitive. Rule #6: Don't get violent. Don't say stuff like that ****ing retard is a freakin idiot. You should handle this in a way that shows you are intelligent and responsible. This will allow others to believe that this peron knows what he is talking about and not just a ranking fool. There ya go. Read carefully.

you've got it there, but whatever your hobbies are make a folder in your email and anytime you email someone about that hobby put those emails in that folder. I deal in rabbits, so if someone emails to buy or I email to buy it goes in that folder so all evidence and everything ever said goes on there. Some lady just bought some and I specifically said I did NOT have the ped at the moment and wasn't sure when I'd get it and explained the situation with where i had purchased the rabbit. She emailed me bugging me again and then a forum we're both on she had to make a hubbub about it. I went back through our emails got what I had said and pasted it on there... she STFU quick.
Just saying the folder method makes you automatically throw stuff in there and easy refrence ---------- Check the animal over the second you get it. Look for any physical mishaps, disease, exc. The second you get it out of the box. Anything negative or that you think will turn into negative make a note about it and watch it like a hawk

Not just make a note and watch it like a hawk.... notify the seller immediately about the problem and tell them that you will be watching it closely

When my pine snake went missing in shipment for a week I was in contact with the seller daily. We were both making calls and reporting to each other the info we had. He offered to send a replacement at his expense even though it was the shipper's fault (UPS). Luckily the snake arrived in good condition. I was very impressed with his professionalism as a breeder/seller. It was my second purchase from him, and I guess he wanted to keep me as a repeat customer.
