Quite the leap

Last I posted was about me getting either a rose hair, fireleg, or red knee tarantula...welp, at the expo earlier this month, neither of those were bought. I looked around, and found a Richmond breeder, and talked to him for a bit, and got myself a Brazilian Salmon Pink Birdeater...I know, they get huge, but I don't think this was a bad decision. It'll be a while until she's full grown, so I'll have time to get a new tank(if I need to, with all the ones I have laying around. I would post pics, but it'll have to wait because I don't have my camera at the moment, and I'm at my mom's, so it wouldn't be a quick trip home or anything.

Thoughts? Concerns? Comments? I realize this may have been a controversial buy, but I don't think I did wrong.

Ha! Good choice! This was my first T as well! Amazingly calm when younger. I wouldn't call it a bad decision either! Crazy feed response though!

Oh yeah, she is very quick to eat when you drop a cricket in there!
