I'm going. I may be there ahead of everyone. I'm going to try for a full week off. I'll be getting an electric site, though, because of the on-site parking. My truck is my tent, just like last year. Black garbage bags and duct tape make great curtains...I used them in my room for over a year before I moved out. lol

Well, I used black garbage bags and push pins in my room...but duct tape works much better in a truck than push pins.

That might work for the side windows, but I'd like to be able to see through the rearview while I'm driving. Duct tape does not remove easily enough. I'll come up with something.

open the windows a bit and feed the end of a shirt through then roll it up so its stuck in the window, used to do it all the time on car trips when i was little

You could use automotive painters tape...just leave an edge free to pull it off easier (it'll come off easy anyway usually...but that helps). It's a green color masking tape...or the blue painter's tape may work fine too. If you have an old tarp, you could even cut out some "curtains" to fit the windows...so you can quickly rip them off and tape them up.

maybe a miracle will happen and money will magically appear (not holding my breath on that one) or maybe I need to start playing more scratch offs..haha. I wish you guys could make a more southernly trip that way I could at least attempt to make it. How much is a plane ticket nowadays?

Have you thought about a bus ticket? For me from South east point of ohio to Wyoming would only be 90 bucks. As long as its 3 weeks in advance.

Granted the bus can suck, but its a 'cheaper' alternative.
