Default Grom

Here's a few pics and video of Grom in the big tank. He loves the water. This is an older video, he's still under right now. It's getting about time for him to come up though, then it will be time to move outside.

That's awesome!

What kind of setup would one of these guys need? My buddy's got a computer shop and has been looking for something to setup in a display tank in the showroom. Since a snake is out of the question, I'm thinking a frog or something could be a possibility for him since most people find frogs "cute" and non-threatening...whereas, he may lose customers if they walk in to see a snake in an aquarium. Plus with something like this, a lot of people would be intrigued by their size.

Frogs make awesme displays. I have a big ACF set up at my office as well as one of these pyxies, and am planning on a large tree frog display for the wife's office. Pyxies are great displays because they don't require much at all, and they are just awesome to look at due to the size. Thiey only needs are a water bowl and some coco fiber to burrow into. You can spice it up with whatever else you want as far as plants and whatnot. They need a minimum of 20 gallon longs for males. Anything bigger is always nicer though. The tank is the pics above is a 90 gallon with a bunch of plants and about 11 1/2 gallon swimming area.
